TR-003HighProviderPreventive
Performance Metrics Disclosure to Deployers
The instructions for use must include the performance metrics for which the system has been designed and the level of accuracy that the provider committed to achieving, enabling deployers to assess whether the system meets their operational requirements.
Articles:Article 13(3)(b)(ii)Article 15

Related EU AI Act terms
- Instructions for UseInformation provided by the provider of a high-risk AI system to inform deployers about the system's intended purpose, performance characteristics, limitations, maintenance requirements, human oversight mechanisms, and the technical measures needed to ensure the system can be effectively overseen by natural persons.
- AccuracyThe requirement that high-risk AI systems achieve an appropriate level of accuracy in relation to their intended purpose, as specified in the technical documentation. Providers must declare the level of accuracy in the instructions for use.
- RobustnessThe ability of a high-risk AI system to maintain its level of performance under adverse conditions — including technical limitations, adversarial inputs, errors, or unexpected situations — or within foreseeable operating conditions outside the intended purpose.
- CybersecurityThe requirement that high-risk AI systems are resilient against attempts by third parties to alter their use, behaviour, or performance in ways that could result in risks to health, safety, or fundamental rights, including protection against data poisoning, adversarial examples, and model evasion attacks.
- Transparency RequirementsObligations under Article 13 requiring that high-risk AI systems are designed to ensure that their operation is sufficiently transparent to enable deployers to interpret the system's output and use it appropriately, and under Article 50 for specific systems (chatbots, synthetic content) to notify persons they are interacting with AI.
